The staff is absolutely wonderful, helpful and kind. I really enjoyed my stay as this hotel is clean, modern and has everything you need from room service, a bar to a huge spread for breakfast. The linens are bright white and even though they allow animals, you would never know it because of how clean the staff keeps the hotel. I highly recommend it.
I stayed here for two nights while visiting my friend at the UNC hospital. The staff was very kind & personable, the dinner from the restaurant was surprisingly amazing (the bacon chicken sandwich is a winner), and I definitely would stay here again. The King Bed room was more than sufficient. The points redemption during the week was very reasonable.

This is a nice clean Hyatt Place (mid-range). Room was clean, but a little warn. The toilet wouldn't stop running. There was a little road noise, but not.as much as you'd expect being that close to a street. Breakfast was a normal offering, not so great. The one thing I found was an exit from the 3rd floor in the rear with a bridge and a short (4 or 5 blocks) up hill walk to Southern Village Town Square. There are several good restaurants, a movie theater, good coffee shop with Gelato in the evening and a wonder town square park. The night we visited, there was a big band concert. It's a very nice space. There's also a.park and.ride up there that has buses into Chapple Hill.
I have stayed here multiple times. Staff is friendly, breakfast is fresh.
So glad we refused to pay an inflated one-night stay price to be closer to the Dean Smith Center. Hyatt place is approximately 2.5 miles away and one of the cleanest and friendliest (thank you Shanethia) hotels we’ve stayed in. We stay in all levels of hotels but some of the luxury hotels we’ve stayed in couldn’t compare to this friendly & clean Hyatt Place that had a super-clean bathroom with a great shower!!

We have been going to this hotel for 3 years now and their cleanliness and quality has not changed. The rooms are always clean, cleaning service team always come every day and leave the rooms like new, breakfast is a mixture of warm and continental food. Staff are friendly and attentive. Location is typically 10 mins from UNC. It is a great place and I recommend highly. There are ports for charging electric cars, there is a small business center on the first floor.
